Barrel Wax for the Toasted Oak Barrel Vessel

Oak barrels imbue a unique flavor profile into spirits, vinegars and Kombucha! Some leaking is normal for the barrel, up to a week after first starting the batch. This is all part of the process of the wood fully saturating as there are no adhesives used between the staves, it is only the liquid and physics creating the seal. Barrel Wax for the Toasted Oak Barrel Brewing Vessel will give the Toasted Oak Barrel an added seal by applying the wax to the exterior of the wood to help slow or stop small leaks.
