With 20 years of experience teaching others how to brew Kombucha and other fermented drinks at home, Hannah Ruhamah, the Kombucha Mamma, is passionate about her mission of “changing the world, one gut at a time.” She also knows that in order for this mission to truly succeed, we must emulate our mother culture, the SCOBY, and work in symbiosis with other likeminds and like hearts to help the world to reduce inflammation by embracing fermentation. As an outgrowth of this mission, Hannah and Alex, co-founded Kombucha Brewers International to support the commercial industry by uniting to solve problems together while deepening the research, education and love of the Kombucha culture.
Now, after 10 years of service to the industry she loves, which included curating, hosting, leading and teaching content for a dozen conferences (US & abroad) and online webinars totaling 100s of hours of commercial Kombucha education, Hannah is ready to teach those who are heeding the call of serving their communities through healthy, fermented foods and drinks including how to implement the many techniques, tips and strategies to start and scale fermented foods businesses. In these challenging times, we need to knit our communities closer together and one of the best ways to do that is around food.
