I love it unflavored but have also bottled some ginger and chamomile just to try. Everything looked good with the exception of the fine finished wood stand, which arrived with the assembly instructions glued to the fine finish of the wood. At that point I noted that there was surface damage to the stainless steel brewer also. I contacted Hannah and she arranged for a store credit arrangement on the brewer blemish and has agreed to send me another stand when she gets my color back in stock. I like everything and all the info is very detailed, along with the videos included in the starter package. I have bottled some from my first fermentation and I have another batch started now. We’ve just finished bottling our second batch of kombucha and it’s far and away the best we’ve ever had. After spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on store bought kombucha, we tried to make our own without a kombucha kamp kit. It was ok, but we weren’t crazy about the flavor–now I know it was because of the tea and room temperature.
Once we bought the full stainless kit, heater, and Hannah’s special blend tea though, we can’t stop drinking it. It’s simply delicious. We’ve added ginger into bottles and love it. We’ve mixed with juices and love it. And we drink it straight every day. It was tough to decide to make the investment but we’re exceptionally glad we did!
